Foldable Samsung Galaxy phone makes an appearance in video
A leaked video spotted by The Verge is a teaser for this month's Samsung Unpacked event to be held on February 20th. At that time, we expect to see Samsung unveil the Galaxy S10E, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, perhaps the Galaxy S10X (with 5G support), and the foldable Galaxy F (for Fold?). The video, can be found at the top of this article.
The clip shows some of the things that we might see in the future, including a smart mirror that measures an outfit, a robot that can ink a tattoo on someone while the artist draws the design on a tablet, and a foldable smartphone. That's right, starting at the 24 second mark of the video, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy F makes an appearance. The user opens it up (not fully) as though she is reading a book. And it does look similar to the device that Samsung quickly displayed at its Developer Conference in November.
The Samsung Galaxy F is expected to be quite pricey and recently a Samsung official said it would be priced at twice the cost of a premium phone. That means that the Galaxy F could cost $1,700 to over $2,000. The device will reportedly morph from a smartphone with a 4.58-inch display, to a tablet with a 7.3-inch screen.
