Recently, we've been talking about the LeTV X900. This is the manufacturer's so-called "Super Phone" that features a bezel-less 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560. Posted on a Weibo page in China is a picture showing LeTV's COO Liang Jun holding the X900 in his hand. At the same time, he is talking to the company's partners about speeding up production of the phone. The executive also posted on the Weibo page his comments on the difficulties of producing a bezel-less handset.
The LeTV X900 is supposed to be unveiled on April 14 along with the more down to earth LeTV X600. The latter is expected to feature a screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. Powering the phone is an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 CPU. 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage are inside. A 13MP snapper is on back and the phone will be priced at the equivalent of $161 USD.
The rest of the LeTV X900's specs include a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 CPU with 4GB of RAM inside. A 20.7MP camera featuring a Sony sensor is on back and this will be the first Android phone to use a Type C USB port. That means that the connector can be inserted with either side up. The flagship will be priced at the equivalent of $403 USD.
We don't expect to see either model offered outside Asia, although all will be known after the event next Tuesday.
