LeEco X10 flagship could be unveiled at MWC 2017

LeEco isn't doing so well financially speaking, but the Chinese company is trying to adjust its smartphone strategy on the go. After launching its flagship smartphone, the Le Pro3 in the United States, LeEco plans to expand its portfolio with new, high-end devices.

Some of them might even be introduced next month at Mobile World Congress, but that remains to be confirmed in the coming weeks. One such device that hasn't been announced yet, the LeEco X10 has been recently spotted at GFXBench, your everyday benchmark database.

Judging by the specs listed, the X10 is definitely a high-end smartphone, but there are some choices in there that might not qualify it for the flagship title. For starters, the LeEco X10 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

LeEco's current Le Pro3 is powered by a newer Snapdragon 821 CPU, so the company's next flagship should pack at least a similar chipset. Also, Android 7.0 Nougat would be nicer to have instead of Marshmallow.

Furthermore, the LeEco X10 is listed with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, as well as 32GB or 64GB of storage, which makes us believe there will be at least two versions available on the market.

Both versions seems to pack 12-megapixel rear-facing cameras and, surprisingly, 16-megapixel cameras in the front. There could be some mistakes in the listing, or the prototypes tested might not include the final hardware configuration, so take it with a grain of salt.
