LeEco Le 2S (LEX652) is certified in China by TENAA
It is hard to believe that it was just earlier this month when we passed along rumors about the LeEco Le 2S being powered by the Snapdragon 821 SoC, carrying 8GB of RAM. Just days later, those rumored specs were refuted by a GFXBench benchmark test which listed the phone with the Snapdragon 820 chipset, and 4GB of RAM. But as it turned out, even those specs were not found on the phone.
On Wednesday the LeEco Le 2S (LEX652) was certified in China by that country's regulatory agency TENAA. According to the documentation for the phone, it will come equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio X25 chipset with a deca-core 2.5GHz CPU, and the Mali-T880 GPU.
On the back of the handset are dual 13MP cameras, and an 8MP front-facing camera snaps selfies and handles video chats. The phone is powered by the 3900mAh battery that is on board. A fingerprint scanner is found under the rear cameras, and Android 6.0 is pre-installed. Color options include Gold, Silver, Black, Pink Gold, and White. The handset is 7.5mm thin and weighs 168 grams.
