Latest Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ renders show three colors and four angles
We've seen quite a few renders of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ disseminated by serial leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks). The latest render shows the eagerly awaited handsets in Black Sky, Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver. The pair will be unveiled on March 29th in New York City with the launch supposedly taking place on April 28th. Earlier today, we showed you a television ad and a teaser (in the form of a poster) for the two units.
The latest rumored specs for the Galaxy S8 include a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2960 resolution. Under the hood, depending on where the phone is purchased, will be the Snapdragon 835 chipset or the Exynos 8895 SoC. Both carry octa-core CPUs. 4GB of RAM is inside, along with 64GB of native storage. A 12MP rear-facing camera comes with an aperture of f/1.7. OIS is included. The front-facing selfie snapper weighs in at 8MP and takes wide angle photographs. Keeping the hamster wheel spinning is a 3000mAh battery.

The Galaxy S8+ has similar specs except for a larger 6.2-inch display, and a 3500mAh battery. Both models have Android 7.1 pre-installed and feature an IP certification rating of IP68. That means that in theory, they can be submerged in water to a depth of nearly 5-feet for up to 30-minutes, and escape unscathed. Both models will also include a fingerprint scanner, iris scanner and face recognition.
