Latest Motorola DROID Turbo leak includes peek at its box
The Motorola DROID Turbo is one of the most, if not the most, anticipated handsets due out before the end of this year. With a rumored 5.2 inch screen and a 1440 x 2560 resolution, the phone will sport a jaw-dropping 565ppi pixel density. The rest of the specs are also rumored to be high-end, including the quad-core 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 CPU and the Adreno 420 GPU. 3GB of RAM will be inside with 32GB of native storage on board. A 20.7MP camera will be on the back and a 3900mAh battery will allow the phone to run for two days on a single charge. One of the main features of the device will be the ability to get 8 hours of battery life after just 15 minutes of charging.
A new series of pictures was leaked on Saturday, with the boxing for the phone included. As you can see, this phone, like all Motorola DROID models, is a Verizon exclusive although there is talk about a non-DROID branded model for other carriers.
The excitement is building for the Motorola DROID Turbo, which is expected to get introduced before the end of this month. You might have to go back to 2011 when the Motorola DROID Bionic was released, to find the last time a Motorola DROID branded handset received as much anticipation as the DROID Turbo has.
