LG teases "vegetable-skinned" leather back for the LG G4
Last week, we showed you a large collection of leaked LG G4 images including several that showed a leather back for the device. On LG's Facebook page this morning, the manufacturer posted a teaser that basically confirms that those leather backed pictures of the phone are legitimate. We also learned that the leather is vegetable-tanned. LG writes, "Always have authentic luxury in hand. The brand new LG G4 with vegetable-tanned leather cover. See the great, feel the great."
LG also posted a pair of promotional photos showing the unannounced handset in black and white. The device is expected to be officially unveiled at a media event on April 28th in New York City.
We have seen various specs leaked for the phone, and the only thing we can say for sure is that LG has confirmed that the rear camera will be 16MP with an aperture of f/1.8. That will allow users to take sharp pictures even under low-light conditions. The manufacturer also revealed that the front-facing camera will weigh in at 8MP.

On the 28th, we also might see the LG G4 Note surface. This is a premium handset that LG is rumored to be offering to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, right down to the G Pen that reportedly will come with the device.
