LG showcases new GSM phones at CES

LG Electronics showcased several mobile handsets at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, among which are the two new GSM devices to be available from Cingular Wireless - CU320 and F9200.
CU320: a quad-band GSM and dual-band UMTS slider phone, which is specifically designed for ultra fast downloads. The handset is expected to be available later this month. The main features are:

- Bluetooth
- 1.3 megapixels camera with flash and video capture
- GPRS/EDGE/UMTS high-speed data
- 64 MB Flash/ 64 MB SRAM
- TransFlash memory expansion slot
- MP3 Music Player with Stereo Sound

- Streaming audion and video

F9200: a dual-band GSM phone, which can be used both in normal and landscape mode. The successor of F9100 is expected to be available from Cingular for as low as $99.99 with a two-year agreement, though the exact release date is not mentioned. The device features:
- 65K color STN display
- VGA (640x480) camera
- Full QWERTY keyboard, sliding from the side
- SMS/MMS/IM support
- WAP 2.0 Internet browser
