LG plans to launch Optimus Big with 4.3" NOVA display
We were tipped on another upcoming phone, which allegedly carries LG's bright shining NOVA display technology, as found on the LG Optimus Black (our preview here), but in a 4.3" form. The phone is codenamed LG Optimus Big for now, and is supposed to appear on the LG U+ carrier in Korea next month.

The source says that the handset is powered by a 1GHz single-core chipset, and has a T-DMB TV tuner, which, of course, is of any use only in Korea.

We don't know yet when or if the Optimus Big will be sold outside of Korea, but we certainly hope so. In our own screen comparison with the Retina Display, Super AMOLED and ClearBlack AMOLED, the NOVA technology outshined them all with its 700 nits of brightness.

Thanks, James!
