LG Watch Urbane officially launches this month via Google Store
LG just announced that its Watch Urbane (initially unveiled back in February) is now finally ready for a global rollout.

The new smartwatch will be first available to buy in South Korea, where users are going to find it starting this week. Starting later in April, the Watch Urbane will be launched via Google Store in the following countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain, the UK, and the US. Unfortunately, LG didn't say how much the smartwatch will cost.

The Watch Urbane is the first device to come with Google's latest version of Android Wear. Like the G Watch R before it, it sports a circular 1.3-inch P-OLED display with 320 x 320 pixels, while featuring a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, and a 410 mAh battery. However, unlike the G Watch R, the LG Watch Urbane has a classy look, resembling a traditional watch. The device is dust- and water-resistant (IP67-certified), it's made out of stainless steel, and comes with a stitched leather strap (this can be changed with any 22mm leather, silicone, or metal strap).

The Watch Urbane has two features that aren't available on other Android Wear smartwatches: LG Call (letting you access your smartphone via Bluetooth to dial calls - though you still have to use the smartphone, or a Bluetooth headset to actually talk), and LG Pulse (which measures "the wearer’s heart rate every second during exercise with no maximum time limit").
