LG V35 ThinQ starts receiving Android 9.0 Pie update, but US will have to wait
LG is quite behind the competition when it comes to Android updates, and we don't have anything to say that my sweeten the situation. If you own an LG flagship smartphone, chances are that you're still stuck on Android 8.0 Oreo, although that might change in the coming months.

The South Korean company announced early this month that Android 9.0 Pie updates will be released for V30, V35, and V40 ThinQ starting in Q2 2019. We are now happy to report that one of these phones, the V35 ThinQ is now getting the promised update in South Korea.

The folks over at MyLGphones spotted the update, which is now headed to three LG V35 models available in the country. But what exactly does that mean for LG customers in the US and other territories?

Well, it means that we can expect the LG V35 ThinQ Android 9.0 Pie roll-out to expand to additional countries very soon. As a matter of fact, LG has already finished testing the Android 9.0 Pie update for the V35 ThinQ in the US, so there's a high chance that the smartphone maker will kick off the roll-out in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
