Verizon starts selling LG's premium Tone Platinum SE wearable earbuds
LG introduced the stylish Tone SE neckbuds early this month at IFA 2018 but didn't say anything about their availability in the United States. Well, we're happy to report that anyone can now buy a pair of the expensive model for $199.
Verizon Wireless has them listed in black color, but the LG Tone Platinum SE earbuds will go on sale at Best Buy and AT&T sometime this month. Those who can't afford LG's headset can wait until the Tone Ultra SE earbuds will be launched in the United States.
The less expensive Tone series earphones will be available for purchase from September at Verizon for just $129.99. Two other domestic carriers, AT&T and Sprint will sell the Tone Ultra SE earbuds later this fall.
The premium LG Tone Platinum SE Bluetooth headset features Harman Kardon Platinum sound and a hybrid speaker unit for top-of-the-line audio quality. They come with Google Assistant support, Google Translate, and dual MEMS mics. The earphones require devices powered by Android 6.0 or newer.
