Good news for T-Mobile customers, as the carrier finally doing what it promised three months ago. Those of you who purchased the LG Stylo Plus from the Uncarrier, probably feel disappointed that
T-Mobile announced back in February the Android 7.0 Nougat update is available for download without actually making it available.
Without further explanation, the US carrier quickly pulled from its support website any mention of Android 7.0 Nougat stating that the update only adds another security patch.
Today, T-Mobile confirmed once again that an Android 7.0 Nougat update is now being rolled out to the
LG Stylo 2 Plus. If you own the smartphone, then you should be looking for software version V55020a, which is supposed to upgrade the OS to Android 7.0 Nougat.
Keep in mind that this is a staged rollout, so it might take a couple of days until it reaches all
LG Stylo 2 Plus devices. If it doesn't show up on your phone soon, you might want to manually check for the update.
Aside from the new features included in Android 7.0 Nougat, the update should also contain various bug fixes and software stability improvements, T-Mobile claims.
