LG Q6 (LG G6 mini) to be unveiled on July 11th?
It was just a few days ago when tipster Evan Blass disseminated a tweet stating that the LG G6 mini will be called the LG Q6. On Wednesday, an invitation was released for an event to be held on July 11th. On that date, LG will introduce the LG Q6. According to Blass, this device will feature a 5.4-inch screen with 3GB of RAM, an 18:9 aspect ratio, and a single 13MP rear-facing camera.
The introduction of the device is expected to take place in Poland although it remains to be seen whether Poland will be the the only country receiving the LG Q6, or if other regions will be getting it. The irony of this whole thing is that it seems strange to call a handset with a 5.4-inch display a "mini phone." Back in 2010, the Motorola DROID X and the HTC HD2 each carried a 4.3-inch screen, which seemed at the time to be outlandishly large. In comparison, the full-sized LG G6 comes with a 5.7-inch display carrying a 1440 x 2880 resolution.
Next week at this time, we should know all about the LG Q6. Circle July 11th on your calendar, and be prepared to find out on that date all about the the LG G6 mini aka the LG Q6.
