LG Optimus 2X has started to go into pre-order mode over in Europe
There is no surprise about the huge anticipation befalling people all around about the LG Optimus 2X, but Europeans are just one step closer in obtaining this highly prized Android powered smartphone.
Specifically, Expansys over in the UK is offering pre-orders for the handset which is going for the price of free with certain Vodafone contracts. Moreover, you can pick up a SIM-free version of the handset for the extravagant cost of £499.99 ($800) – but then again, you have to take into consideration that it's packing a dual-core Tegra 2 chip-set under the hood. Now even though you'll be able to place your pre-order through Expansys right now, don't expect to see it arrive on your front door any time soon seeing that it's slated to ship March 21st.
Additionally, Danish store Ellos is also offering pre-orders for it at the price of 3599 DKK ($650) with a ship date of February 25th. Obviously, it's nice to see some concrete dates with the LG Optimus 2X since there is no word yet about the potential of seeing a US carrier taking hold of the handset.
