LG L65 seems to be a new KitKat-based L Series smartphone
Apart from allegedly preparing to announce its new G3 flagship later this year, it appears that LG is also getting ready to launch a new L Series smartphone. Called LG L65, the handset that we’re talking about hasn’t been confirmed by the South Korean company yet, but we know about it because @evleaks posted two images that show its front and back.
Design-wise, the LG L65 resembles the LG L70 that was released in Europe and Asia not long ago. However, it’s a tad smaller, as it sports a 4.3-inch WVGA display, instead of the 4.5-inch screen of the L70. Other features reportedly include a dual-core 1.2GHz processor (most probably a Snapdragon 200 - since the L70 is also powered by this CPU), and a 5MP rear camera with LED flash.
The other three L Series handsets announced by LG earlier this year (L40, L70 and L90) all run Android KitKat, so we’re expecting the L65 to have this version of the OS at launch, too. There is no word on when LG intends to release the L65, but we’ll let you know when we find out.
