LG G3 for T-Mobile caught in the wild, might be launched in June
Just like the older G2, the upcoming LG G3 is expected to be widely available around the world, including in the US, via all major mobile operators. A new set of photos now seemingly confirms that the G3 is headed to T-Mobile USA carrying the model number D851 (this was spotted at the FCC a few days ago).
The photos show the G3 D851 in a protective case. According to TmoNews, the LG G3 may become available at T-Mobile starting mid to late June (for an unknown price). This makes perfect sense, as the handset will be officially presented to the world on May 27.
@evleaks also has some images of what he calls the LG G3 Developer Edition for T-Mobile (meaning that it should have an unlockable bootloader). Once again, the handset is protected by a bulky case. Anyway, the G3 appeared in a lot of photos until now, so we already know what it looks like - from all angles.
As previously reported, the LG G3 sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. Other features include a 13MP rear camera (apparently with “laser focus”), a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space, microSD card support, and a removable 3,000 mAh battery.
