Ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come - the LG G3 is right around the corner, and it’s expected to be the first device to sport a super-sharp, Quad HD (2560 x 1440-pixel) 5.5-inch display, as well as the latest and most powerful silicon under the hood.

LG has just recently become the world's third largest smartphone maker by revenue, right behind the market leaders Apple and Samsung, and this has a lot to do with the successful launch of the LG G2. Last year's LG flagship, the G2, was the first to arrive with the experimental positioning of its buttons on the back, and as a result of that, the Korean company was able to thin out the bezels of the device and make it very compact for its size. Now, with the LG G3, the company is expected to build up on that experience, as the G3 is widely expected to feature a similar (yet, more refined) design.

What else does LG have up its sleeve? Tune in to the official LG G3 event livestream right below to find out live at:

1 PM ET | 10 AM PT | 6 PM GMT

The company is planning a massive unveiling spread across six cities. LG will lift the cover off its new flagship at simultaneously held events in London, New York, and San Francisco, and over on the other side of the pond, LG will hold press pow-wows in Singapore, Istanbul and Seoul.
