LG G3 Prime receives Bluetooth certification; release imminent?
Even though the LG G3 is the flagship handset for LG, some features that were expected on the device, such as IP67 certification and a Snapdragon 805 chip, were nowhere to be found when the device was introduced at the end of May. So that leads us to the rumored LG G3 Prime. Reportedly carrying a model number of LG-F460, this handset is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 805 CPU and offer IP 67 certification. The latter means that the LG G3 could withstand getting submerged in as much as 3 feet of water, for as long as 30 minutes.

A couple of weeks ago, a phone with a similar model number (LG-F460L) was found in an Android .prop file under the code name of Tiger. The leaked information revealed that this phone would be powered by the Snapdragon 805 SoC, which includes the Adreno 420 GPU and a Qualcomm MDM9635 modem. The modem would support speeds as fast as 225Mbps. The screen will have a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution and the phone will include 3GB of RAM, 16GB of native storage, and a 13MP rear camera.

The "S" in the LG-F460S stands for SK Telecom, while the "L" in the LG-F460L represents the mobile operator LG+  With the Bluetooth certification, it would appear that a launch of the LG G3 Prime is imminent and is about to take Android flagship models to the next level. Meanwhile, T-Mobile will the first U.S. carrier to offer the LG G3 in the U.S., on July 16th.
