LG's next Android tablet is already listed for sale in the US
Some of you might be aware that LG is readying yet another Android tablet with a disappointing hardware configuration. The folks at XDA Developers learned the new tablet called LG G Pad 5 will be powered by a very old Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage.
Although this is a flagship chipset, it was launched three years ago, so it's slower and less efficient than Qualcomm's latest top-tier CPUs. Also, the memory configuration is more appropriate for a mid-range device rather than a high-end one.
In any case, it looks like the LG G Pad 5 has already been listed on a website in the US. Unsurprising, the tablet is priced at just $285, but it's not yet available for purchase. There are no images with the tablet on the page, but we do have one published in our previous report.
As MyLGphones points out, the LG G Pad 5 will feature LTE support. Also, the tablet sports a large 10.1-inch full HD display, a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a large battery. Sadly, the slate won't ship with Android 10 onboard, but that was to be expected.
