LG Fortune 2 arrives at Cricket Wireless, offers advanced selfie camera features
Cricket Wireless has just announced that the sequel to LG's affordable Fortune smartphone is now available for purchase for less than $100. New and existing customers can grab the entry-level handset for just $99.99 via Cricket's online and retail stores.
Although it's a cheap phone, the LG Fortune 2 offers some neat selfie camera features like Gesture Shot and Auto Shot, which allow users to take selfies much easier than usual.
The back side features an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and what appears to be a fingerprint sensor but is in fact just a power button. The 5-inch display features HD (720p) resolution and there's also a 1.4GHz quad-core processor inside, along with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.
The phone is powered by a 2,500 mAh battery and offers some LG specific features like Smart Cleaning, Battery Saver, Knock On, and App Shortcuts. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with Oreo on board, but Android Nougat should be fine for such a cheap smartphone.
