LG E970 for AT&T with Adreno 320 GPU comes out on top of graphics benchmarks
Now we don't know whether the LG E970 for AT&T that appeared in GLBenchmark's database will sport the dual-core MSM8960 Pro Snapdragon, or the quad-core APQ8064, but it will surely sport the new Adreno 320 graphics processor, judging from the GPU details revealed.
We doubt it, though, since the APQ8064 looks destined for tablets, as it doesn't have an integrated modem, and its might would be pretty pointless in a phone anyway, so we'd wager to bet MSM8960 Pro with Adreno 320 will be the silicon powering AT&T's flagship LG phone when it lands.
The specs also list HD 1280x768 pixels display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and we've heard before that the Sprint version - LG LS970 "Eclipse" - of this new LG flagship might feature 2GB of RAM, like the LG Optimus LTE 2, and sport a quad-core processor, so that's what could be in store for AT&T's version as well.
The 6722 score of the LG E970 in the Egypt Standard test beats the mighty new iPad GPU, which, of course, has to power much more pixels, but it is only slightly better than the 6646 score of the Samsung Galaxy S III, so the overclocked Mali-400 might hold its own well against the newest Adreno 320 GPU by Qualcomm.
