LG Chocolate Touch prices revealed
Not into the all the Motorola Droid hype that has been going on, and looking for a basic touchscreen phone with some music ability? Then the new LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 might be for you. We've know about the device for quite some time, and even previewed a pre-production unit last month, but on November 5th it will finally be released. Verizon's internal site is showing that the price will be $79.99 after a $50 rebate with a 2-year contract, $149.99 after $50 rebate with a 1-year contract, and $259.99 full retail. Features will include a 3" touchscreen with 400x240 pixel resolution, music player and FM radio that can play in the background (multitasking), 3.2MP camera, 1GB internal music memory, 16GB microSDHC support, HTML web browser, and all the standard VCast capabilities. For some reason they decided for data to use EVDO Rev 0 instead of Rev A, but in doing so it will not be classified as an Enhanced Multimedia Phone and will not require a data plan. So will you upgrade to the new Chocolate Touch from your older Chocolate or Chocolate 3? Let us know in the Comment section below.
