LG C300 hits the town in Berlin
Despite its recent foray into high-end smartphones, LG seems to have left some R&D resources for the phones that make it what it is now - the world's 3rd largest cell phone manufacturer. The LG C300 Town has been caught at IFA 2010 in all its simplicity as a text messaging/push email device.

The handset has a physical QWERTY keyboard in a candy bar form factor. Much like the Nokia C3, it sports a 2MP camera on the back, a 3.5mm audio jack, and easy access to the social networks, but little else is known about it. You will probably be limited to EDGE speeds with this one, it's doubtful that LG has included 3G or Wi-Fi in what looks like a bargain-basement messaging handset.

The LG C300 Town will be available in white&orange as well as black&red color schemes. For now only Orange in Europe is known to carry the device, but release date and price are still unclear.
