LG C300 Town messaging phone is ready to hit the town
We've seen the LG C300 Town strutting its stuff previously, but now it looks as though that it's ready to take on the real world as the handset was officially announced by LG.
Some people really love the BlackBerry portrait style QWERTY form factor, but the hefty price tags associated with them can sometimes dissuade people from purchasing them. That's where the LG C300 Town comes into mind as it packs that all too convenient portrait QWERTY keyboard while still offering some much wanted features – like access to Twitter, Facebook, and a host of instant messaging clients. Additionally, it features a 2-megapixel camera, push email integration, 3.5mm headset jack, and FM radio.
Needless to say that this messaging phone is going to be inexpensive in price – which is evident with its figure of £69 ($108) through Orange. The handset will be sold through a variety of mobile operators throughout Europe, but there is no word if it'll make its way in some form to the US market.
