HTC has halted the Android 4.4 KitKat update to its HTC One in the U.K. In a statement, the Taiwan based manufacturer said that some HTC One users who updated their handsets are experiencing some difficulties with the update. Of course, HTC says that it is working hard to resolve the problem. In the meantime, it has revised its U.K. Software Updates page to show that the update to carriers is back at the integration stage, which comes prior to the push to customers.
"We are aware that a limited number of HTC users are experiencing difficulties with the KitKat update. As a result, all FOTA updates have been temporarily suspended. HTC is committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience and we are working hard to resolve the issue quickly."-HTC statement
We will keep an eye on this situation, and while HTC hasn't said when it will resume the updates, as soon as they do we will let you know.
