Jaybird unveils Reign – a smart wristband that monitors your health

There are several things we can say about the trendy wearable gadgets, and “too many” is one of them. Both major players and completely unknown companies continue to announce upcoming projects, which are centered around some kind of wearable tech. Jaybird, a sport tech company, has lifted the veil on its own wristband, called Reign. The wearable is a personal fitness assistant, which monitors your daily activities and sleep.

Just like the recently announced Garmin Vivofit, the Jaybird Reign monitors your health stats and tracks your daily activities and rest. One of the nice features of the gizmo is the Go-Zone feature, which shows when you need to get more active. However, if you are on the right path to a healthier lifestyle, the wearable notifies you that you are in the Go-Zone and can take a rest. Jaybird claims that the wristband will help you greatly improve your overall health.

The Jaybird Reign wrist gadget tethers the collected data to an app in your smartphone via Bluetooth. The app will be available for both iOS and Android.
