Jawbone Icon Bluetooth headset returns to its roots with 6 different designs
After some leaks shots showed Aliph’s Jawbone Icon Bluetooth headset making a return to its roots, now it seems that it’ll be offered in six different designs. You just have to love some of the interesting names they are given, but they’re probably well suited for different personalities. Following a clockwise direction starting with the top left, you’ve got The Thinker, The Rogue, The Hero, The Ace, The Catch, and The Bombshell – again we presume it’ll convey the personality of the user. Although it does look somewhat reminiscent of the original Jawbone headset, it’s said to be the smallest and lightest Jawbone to date with an improved NoiseAssassin and simultaneous dual-phone linking. What makes it even unique is its onboard ‘AudioApp’ which can notify you verbally through the headset for pertinent information like caller ID and battery level. There’s a level of personalization to it all with the MyTalk website where users can install additional AudioApps and DialApps onto the Jawbone Icon – the DialApps can be used to modify the multifunction button for things like voice-to-SMS or voice dialing. So where can you get yours you ask? For starters, you’ll have to hit up your local Verizon store to catch yours for $99.99 – competitively priced like their previous offerings.
