Jade Empire: Special Edition gets ported to iOS, up for grabs for $9.99

The folks over at Aspyr Media have just announced they ported the highly-acclaimed Jade Empire PC game to the iOS platform. The Special Edition of the game is now available via App Store, but it won't come for free.

Despite the fact that Bioware's Dragon Age and Mass Effect franchises better known among game addicts, Jade Empire managed to make its way into RPG fans' hearts since it was launched back in 2015.

If you've played Jade Empire on either PC or console, you'll be pleased to know that the Special Edition ported to iOS comes with additional content, which should provide you with more than 40 hours of gameplay.

Although the world depicted in Jade Empires is not as famous as the one shown in Bioware's other titles like those in the Star Wars Knights of Old Republic series, it will definitely keep you entertained for many hours.

If you're new to this franchise, then it's worth mentioning that you'll embark on an epic journey with amazing characters across a fantastic new world inspired by the myths and legends of ancient China. You'll be fighting outlaws, evil magicians, demonic incarnations, and other villains that are supposed to protect the Jade Empire's dangerous secrets.

However, before purchasing the game, you should know that it will only work with iPad (3rd generation), iPad Air, iPad mini (2nd generation), as well as iPhone 5 and newer. If you plan on paying Jade Empire on an earlier iOS device, it will not work.
