It's Adventure Time for Minecraft Pocket Edition players!

Minecraft players rejoice! Mojang has just announced that the highly-anticipated Adventure Time mash-up pack for Minecraft Pocket Edition is available for download earlier than expected.

Although it was initially meant to make its debut on PC and consoles first, and then to mobile devices at a later date, the developers were able to release Adventure Time at the same time on all compatible platforms.

Adventure Time is more than just a skin pack though, as players will notice that the entire land of Ooo will be taking over their Minecraft world. Lots of iconic characters from the animated series such as Finn, Jake, Ice King, Marceline, Princess Bubblegum and others are now available in Minecraft.

Adventure Time is heavily inspired by D&D (Dungeons and Dragons), the creator of the mash-up, Pendleton Ward, said in a recent interview. Those of you who've played Telltale's Minecraft Story game will recognize some of the characters mentioned above.

But if you didn't, you'll just have to meet them for the first time since you'll be able to take Fionna and Cake on a tour of the Candy Kingdom, fight Ice King in the Ice Kingdom and even take a trip with Flame Princess to the Fire Kingdom.
