Is the Samsung S Pen useful as it is?
Recent leaks have shed light on some interesting developments around the upcoming Galaxy Note 9's S Pen stylus. For the first time ever, the gadget will actually have Bluetooth LE connectivity to the smartphone for reasons that are yet unknown. Some leaksters claim that the S Pen is about to receive a massive update.
The Note line has always had two things that differentiate it from the Galaxy S flagship devices — an over-the-top hardware update and the S Pen, which is unique when it comes to smartphone styli. Thanks to Wacom tech, you get great a writing feel, a floating pointer, and palm rejection out of the box.
But... are enough people using the S Pen? Did Samsung feel that it needs to give it super powers in order to prompt most of its users to take the stylus out of its slot every once in a while?
