UPDATE: Upon closer inspection, we do think this is just a Samsung Galaxy Alpha. False alarm, guys!
Is that the Samsung Galaxy S6 in Caroline Stanbury's hands?
Who is Caroline Stanbury, and why should we care? Well, we were tipped this morning by a loyal reader who suggested that we look at her Instagram page to view what could be the rear of the Samsung Galaxy S6. Apparently, Ms. Stanbury is a regular on a reality show called Ladies of London, found on Bravo.
After receiving the tip this morning, we checked out Ms. Stanbury's Instagram page and lo and behold, we found the picture of her holding a Samsung phone. Assuming that the picture was taken using a mirror, the camera and the flash do line up with the back of the Spigen case that we showed you last week.
So why would a reality television star get a Galaxy S6 ahead of the crowd? The answer is, for the same reason that we are talking about it now, publicity. Also, the rich and famous have a way of getting their hands on things before the blue collar crowd does. Whether it is the Samsung Galaxy S6 in Ms. Stanbury's hands or not, Samsung has sent out invitations for a March 1st event at MWC in Barcelona during which Sammy's flagship phone will be unveiled. We also should see the curved glass Samsung Galaxy S Edge unwrapped at that event as well.
