Is Snapseed for Android right around the corner?
Back in September, Google purchased Nik Software and their popular photo editing application Snapseed. For Android users, this could mean only one thing, namely that the app was finally going to land on their mobile platform a choice, after being an iOS exclusive since its debut. And thanks to the evidence we are about to share with you now, we can safely assume that this could happen pretty soon.

The photo that you see here was posted on Google+ by Vic Gundotra, Senior Vice President of Engineering for Google. At first, there doesn't seem to be anything strange about it, but a second look reveals that the image has been uploaded and edited using Snapseed.

The question remains, however, as to what kind of approach Google has taken towards blending its acquisition with its products. Perhaps Snapseed will be released as a dedicated application, but its features will be tightly integrated with Android. On the other hand, the image editing skills of the app could be put right there in the Google+ client, resulting in a richer social networking experience. Or maybe both? Whatever the case, chances are that we'll know sooner than later.
