In order to include music in your Stories, you'll have to tap to add a sticker to a photo or video in Stories to discover the new music icon. Once you tap on the icon, you'll be given access to a library of thousands of songs, which you'll be able to browse or even search for a specific song.
Instagram included some filters that will help you choose the right music for your Stories, so you'll be able to search by mood, genre or what's popular. You can even listen to a preview of the song before adding it to one of your Stories.
Furthermore, Instagram users can choose a song before even capturing a video by swiping to the new “Music” option under the record button when they open the camera. You'll then be able to record a video as the song plays in the background.
Keep in mind that your friends watching your story will also see a sticker showing the song title and artist name.
