The day that many felt would never get here has finally arrived. The online Apple Store has the Apple iPhone 6 and the Apple iPhone 6 Plus in stock. Those ordering all but one configuration of either iPhone model could have their new phone shipped out the same day that it is ordered. The only version that is not in stock is the SIM free version of the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, which carries a one-day wait.
Immediately after being launched, the waiting period for the Apple iPhone 6 Plus grew to as long as 4 weeks. The waiting period for the Apple iPhone 6 was as long as 7-to-10 days. The numbers started coming down, although they never went lower than one day until now.
While the supply picture in the U.S. looks rosy, in some markets demand is still ahead of supply. In Hong Kong, long lines for the new models are still showing up at Apple's retail outlets.
