In India, pre-register for the Nokia Lumia 530; launch to take place in third week of August
The entry-level Nokia Lumia 530, is a sequel to the low end Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 525. The former is the most popular Windows Phone flavored smartphone in history. The device is expected to launch in India during the third week of this month, but you can now pre-register your interest in the phone from Indian online retailer Snapdeal. The phone isn't expected to cost more than 100 EUR, which is equivalent to 8000 rupees or $134 USD.
The Nokia Lumia 530 comes with a 4 inch display, offering resolution of 480 x 854. A quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 is under the hood. 512MB of RAM is inside, with 4GB of native storage. Luckily, a 128GB capacity microSD slot is available to increase the storage capabilities of the phone. A 5MP fixed focus shooter adorns the back of the device, and a 1420mAh battery provides up to 10 hours of 3G talk time. There is a version with a dual SIM card set up. Thanks to different colored exchangeable polycarbonate backs, you can customize the phone to fit your mood.

Because this really is more like a pre-registration than a pre-order, you are not reserving a handset with Snapdeal. No money is changing hands. All you are doing is letting the retailer know of your interest in the device. When the Nokia Lumia 530 is ready to be released, the retailer will notify those who have pre-registered. Meanwhile, Nokia has produced an official video about the phone that you can view with a simple click on the screen, below.
