Check out these new images of the Alcatel 1x, 3 and 3x
Back in November, we showed you six renders that revealed part of Alcatel's 2018 smartphone lineup. Three of those models are back in a new series of images disseminated via tweet by the one and only Evan Blass (@evleaks). The three models are the Alcatel 1x, Alcatel 3 and the Alcatel 3x. At least one of these devices will be unveiled tomorrow, just a couple of days before the industry's largest annual trade show, Mobile World Congress (MWC), opens its doors. The company has already announced that the Alcatel 1x, along with the Alcatel 3v and Alcatel 5 will be introduced on Saturday.
The Alcatel 1x is a low-end handset expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440. This means that it will carry an 18:9 aspect ratio. Inside will be 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of expandable native storage. Adorning the back should be an 8MP camera, with a 5MP snapper in front for selfies and video chats. Android Oreo is said to be pre-installed.
Not much is known about the Alcatel 3 specs-wise, although we can see that it will feature the "thin bezel" look. Unlike the 1x, there is a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The Alcatel 3x is equipped with a dual-camera setup on back, and also offers slim bezels in front. The display is expected to carry a 1080 x 2160 resolution (FHD+), which works out to an aspect ratio of 18:9.
