The Verizon Hub has only been out a few short weeks, which we have been testing, but rumors are already surfacing about a
Hub 2 due out sometime later this year. It would not surprise us, as the current Hub already seems a bit out-dated. It is manufactured by
OpenPeak, and their web site shows some VoIP devices that look a lot more modern than the unit for sale by Verizon. We can only hope the Hub 2 will offer more features (such as a browser) and look better than the current model.

After looking around on the FCC site, we came across a new device by OpenPeak. It doesn't have any "Verizon branding", so we're not sure if it will be the Hub 2, or a unit that OpenPeak will sell directly to the public. The User Manual (see link below) shows a lot more icons, including Video Cams, Sirius Radio, Sudoku, Stocks, YouTube, Horoscopes, Recipes, and Flickr.
