With the unveiling  of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro just five days away, the company released a video teaser today that focuses on the P30 Pro's 10X hybrid zoom. The handset will feature a quad-camera setup in back that includes a 40MP primary sensor, a 20MP ultra-wide sensor, an 8MP telephoto sensor and a Time-of-Flight sensor for AR and more accurate depth measurement.

The Huawei P30 is expected to offer a 5X hybrid zoom and will carry a tri-camera setup on the back. While the sensors on the phone will be similar to what you'll find on the P30 Pro, the lower priced model will not be equipped with the Time-of-Flight camera. The optics on both phones will be from Leica.

Besides the hybrid zoom capabilities of both handsets, Huawei says that it will use a combination of software and hardware to improve low-light photography on the P30 line. Whether Huawei will be able to dethrone the current low-light champion, the Pixel 3, won't be known until the new phones are released on April 5th.

The video teaser produced by Huawei hints that users will be able to record on video a wide-angle and zoom perspective of the same scene at the same time. The teaser, which is titled "See everything with the #HUAWEIP30," can be found at the top of this article.
