Huawei Mate 8: all the official images

The Huawei Mate 8 has arrived with a splash. The large, 6-inch phone comes as the successor the Huawei Mate 7, and while it's just been launched in China, it will take a couple of months until Huawei announces its international version (that's expected to happen at CES in January 2016).

Meanwhile, the official page for the Huawei Mate 8 has gone live bringing us all the details about this fascinating new device. You already know the most important Mate 8 details: it's a 6-inch phone with an LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it features a Huawei-made HiSilicon Kirin 950 system chip with various versions (one with 32GB of storage, a 64GB and even 128GB models, all with expandable storage), and it's got a fairly large 4,000mAh battery. Huawei is also gunning high with a 16-megapixel Sony camera sensor with a new ISP and 3-axis optical image stabilization. The camera is capable of recording 4K video, of course, and you can also record 60fps 1080p videos as well as 120fps slow motion in 720p.

What we want to show you here is one particular thing: the outwards appearance, the design of the Huawei Mate 8. After all, it's a phone made out of aluminum, featuring a sturdy construction and an elegant design. Here are all of its official images.
