Huawei Ascend P2 to hit the U.K. next month
Chinese OEM Huawei has announced that its Android powered Huawei Ascend P2 is coming to the U.K. next month. Unveiled during this year's MWC in Barcelona, the phone offers a 4.7 inch 720p screen and while it is not a FHD display, it still works out to a more than acceptable 312ppi pixel density. The homegrown LTE radio on board can offer data speeds as fast as 150Mbps if available from your carrier.
What the Huawei Ascend P2 is known for is its thin 8.4mm footprint. Huawei's own Emotion UI 1.5 runs on top of Android 4.1 and the 13MP rear-facing camera captures video in 1080p. Next month the phone will be available from various U.K. carriers in black and white.
While we do not have any word on where the carriers are going to price the phone, when the handset was introduced at MWC, Huawei said that it would go for €399 SIM-free which is the equivalent of £337 ($525 USD).
