Ah, the battery icon — the source of so much anxiety. With our phone screens getting bigger and wider, and the notification slip becoming slim and minimalistic, the icons up there sure look tiny. So tiny, that the battery measure over there is kind of hard to read. “Wait, is that 70% battery? Am I at 40% or 20% now?”.
Thankfully, there's a way to activate an actual percentage that shows you your exact charge right next to the apocryphal battery icon. The percentage reading is off by default, probably to save room up there in the notification bar, but you can very easily turn it on.
So, does the OnePlus 7 Pro have a battery percentage option? Yes, and here is how to turn it on!
Go into Settings → Display → Status bar. Here, you will find the toggle for "Show battery percentage".
But wait! You have another option! See the top menu up there, called "Battery style"? Well, once you enable the battery percentage, you can choose to hide the battery icon. You know, to reduce some of the clutter in the notification area.
