Honor View 10 update finally brings GPU Turbo, camera improvements
The Honor View 10 made its debut in the United States back in March, as a cheaper alternative to the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and received a couple of updates that added important new features and improvements to the phone.
The last important update added EIS (electronic image stabilization) mode for the camera and thermal optimizations, among other things. Today, another update brings the highly-anticipated GPU Turbo mode, which is meant to further improve graphics processing efficiency for an enhanced gaming experience.
Besides GPU Turbo, the update adds AIS (Artificial Image Stabilization), a feature that was introduced with the launch of the Huawei P20 Pro. The AIS is likely to help with the image processing software embedded in the Honor View 10.
Also, the update includes a monthly security patch, and a bug fix meant to Airtel users in India. It's unclear when the update will hit devices in the United States, but it shouldn't be long now.
