Honor's next flagship smartphone, the V30, will include 5G support
Honor has just confirmed that its upcoming flagship, the V30 will include 5G support. Unfortunately, Honor V30 will be launched in China and a release in the US is probably out of the question at the moment.
However, the Chinese company always brings its flagships to other regions, including Europe, but under different names. So, while Honor's president Zhao Ming referred to the Chinese version of the company's flagship, there's a high chance that the phone will be released in other countries as Honor View 30.
The problem is the Honor View 30 might not retain all the features of the Honor V30, so 5G support might be skipped for the international model. We won't know for sure until Honor officially introduces its next top-tier phone.
Honor V30 is expected to be powered by Huawei's Kirin 990 chipset, along with the Balong 5000 modem. Although the current Honor flagship, the V20 costs less than $500, the addition of 5G support might boost the price of the upcoming V30.
Although Honor hasn't yet confirmed when it plans to reveal its new flagship, we expect the V30 to be launched on the market early next year.
