High spec'd Gionee E8 and dual battery Gionee M5 to be unveiled on June 10th
Two handsets from Gionee that have caught the attention of PhoneArena readers will be unveiled officially on June 10th. The beastly Gionee E8 and the dual battery containing Gionee M5 will both be officially introduced at an event on June 10th, according to a pair of teasers released by the company.
The Gionee E8 is a 6-inch phablet with a 1440 x 2560 resolution screen. The 64-bit MediaTek MT6795 SoC is under the hood, featuring a true octa-core 2GHz CPU with the IMG G620 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of expandable storage. The 23MP rear camera will allow for 100MP interpolated pictures, and there is an 8MP camera on front for selfies and video chats. The phone is powered by a 3250mAh battery, is 9.6mm thick, and has Android 5.0 pre-installed.
