So, Apple is definitely moving some pieces around with how its iPhones look and feel this year around — some would say “finally”. While the “s” models that will succeed the current
iPhone 7 and
7 Plus are said to be same in form factor, but sporting a glass back and wireless charging, it's the iPhone 8 (a.k.a. iPhone X, iPhone Edition, iPhone Prime) that will have a revolutionary form factor, a proportionally radical price tag, and a bunch of premium colors to entice users to get the special handset.
On that note, we've been seeing a new gold shade for the all-screen iPhones. A descendant of the Rose Gold, the new one is a bit darker, copper-like in shade, and is rumored to be called “
Blush Gold”. It's, allegedly, only going to be offered with 64 GB and 128 GB variants of the phone, making it the more “premium” color — just like how the Jet Black of the iPhone 7 was.
Tech pundit Danny Winget has gotten his hands on three high-quality iPhone 8 mockups, based on the plethora of leaks that are circulating out there. They are colored in the three paintjobs we know of — black, silver, and the aforementioned copper gold. The video proceeds to give us tons of footage of the new color, as well as size comparisons to the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7.
