Here is more of what the Windows Phone Amber update has in store for us
Thanks to the new Lumia 925 making its way to market, we are now seeing more of what will be coming to other Windows Phone devices in the hopefully very near future.
We knew that the Datasense app would be coming to all Windows Phones, as it happens, it is part of the GDR2 (aka Amber) update. Nokia has included a number of features with this update as well, so if you are a Lumia owner you will appreciate some of these add-ons.
First thing you will notice is that in the “extra+info” screen is a big “Lumia Amber” listed with the software release. “Double-tap to wake up” feature is included and the new "Glance" feature can be adjusted with the display settings. The “flip to silence” function is now available, a feature that has been found on HTC devices for a long time. The update includes support for IBM Notes Traveler (formerly IBM Lotus Notes Traveler), which is a competing business grade email to Microsoft Exchange.

The Smart Cam app from Nokia is of course part of the mix, and you can see our demo of the app in action here. Finally, the FM Radio is built right into the Music app, you will find it right under podcast.
