Hearthstone, tremble! The Elder Scrolls: Legends is out on the iPad, hitting Android soon
The Elder Scrolls is one of role-playing's most beloved franchises, but it took a long while for a TES game to hit mobile devices. It's finally happened – The Elder Scrolls: Legends is out worldwide on the iPad, free to play and compatible with all iOS 10-running tablets. It's a hefty download at 1.19GB, though.
Legends includes a story mode and multiplayer battles, both giving you the opportunity to win new cards, decks, and packs to play with – battling the AI or fellow gamers. The game is rich in Elder Scrolls lore, turning characters you may know from Oblivion and Skyrim into cards with authentic stats and abilities.
The iPad version's release timing is advantageous, for Bethesda is about to drop a major content update – The Fall of the Dark Brotherhood – on April 5. It will contain new story missions and over 40 new cards, including three new Legendary cards. iPad gamers have a good week and a half to get comfortable with Legends before embarking on the new content.
