Handsets of a new limited edition series by Gresso, called Grand Monaco, are now available
Just like team Vertu, Gresso seem to have found inspiration in the popular Formula 1 championship, because the company is about to roll out a limited edition series dedicated to the adrenaline-raising sport. Similarly to the lighting-fast F1 bolides, the Grand Monaco is a unique blend of advanced technologies and modern materials. The handset bodies will be made of titanium alloys, covered with high-quality ceramic coating. But this is not all, the cell phones will feature carbon parts, material highly valued for its sturdiness and light weight and displays of polished 42-carat sapphire crystals. Finally, the keyboards will be made of specially processed scratch-resistant lap steal.
What about the specs? Grand Monaco Series handsets will come equipped with TFT display with QVGA resolution, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM Radio and microSD card expansion slot. The phone will be a tri-band device without 3G support and come in two versions - Black Ceramic Black Carbon and Metallic Ceramic Black Carbon. The manufacturer will produce as many as 10 units, i.e. 5 of each version, so you better hurry if you feel like getting yourself one. The cell phones can be purchased on the manufacturer´s website at the pretty decent (alongside of the Vertu) price of 2,100 each.
