HTC's Fun in the Sun sale can save you up to $200 on the purchase of a new handset
HTC is offering savings of up to $200 on certain handsets with its Fun in the Sun sale. We can save you some time right off the bat by telling you that the new HTC U11 is not included, so if your interested in HTC's best flagship in years, there is nothing to see here. But if you're looking for a deal on models like the HTC 10, HTC U Ultra and the HTC Bolt, then read on. The oldest of the trio is the HTC 10, which was HTC's 2016 flagship.

With the sale, you can save $200 or 29% on the HTC 10 and make 12 monthly payments of $41.58 each. The model comes unlocked and is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile's networks. Sporting typical 2016 flagship specs (5.2-inch 1440 x 2560 QHD screen display, Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB of RAM), $499 isn't a bad price for its capabilities and performance.

The HTC Bolt is part of the Fun in the Sun lineup, and with the sale, you can pick up the device for $100 off. That takes the price down by 17% to $500. With an IP certification rating of 57, the Bolt can be submerged into as much as 3.3-feet for as long as 30-miunutes and emerge unscathed. The handset offers a larger 5.5-inch screen than the HTC 10, and the resolution remains the same at 1440 x 2560. Where HTC misfired was with its use of a previous generation chipset (Snapdragon 810 SoC). This model is compatible with Sprint and its Boost pre-paid service in the U.S.

Lastly, the sale offers $120 off the HTC U Ultra. The 16% price break takes the cost of the phone down to $629, which can be paid off in  18 payments of $34.94 each. The device features the highly reflective glass back seen on the HTC U11. Speaking of glass, the Gorilla Glass 5 protected 5.7-inch display is made of Super LCD 5. The handset includes a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The HTC USonic earphones are tuned to your ears for enhanced audio performance. The U Ultra is equipped with a secondary front-facing display, and is compatible with the networks belonging to AT&T and T-Mobile.

The phones are available with free shipping from HTC, and those purchasing one of these three phones will receive a free gift. The sale ends at midnight Eastern Daylight Time on June 29th.
